Artwork Guidelines

To guarantee that your spot-color art can be used for the widest range of imprint methods, please submit only vector-based art. We prefer Adobe Illustrator version CS (or below) saved as an EPS. Be sure to convert all text to outlines (vector curves) so that your font does not become replaced or distorted. Do NOT embed (or place) images into your vector file since in most cases we will not be able to reproduce the image.

If your imprint uses 4-color process or digital printing, the best format for your images is a TIFF saved at 600dpi at the size to be imprinted. Remember, unlike vector images, photos (rasterized art) CANNOT be scaled and still maintain quality.

Other file formats may be acceptable depending upon the factory. JPEGs and web graphics are NEVER acceptable because the quality is inadequate for printing.

Screens (percentages) of solid colors are difficult to reproduce well on most surfaces. Often a dot pattern will be noticeable. It is highly recommended that you have a one-color version of your logo available that does not rely on gradients or screens.
